Hosted by the Department of Energy (DOE), the second annual Deploy24 brought together nearly 2,000 policymakers, community and business leaders, project developers, and climate tech innovators. The event focused on opportunities and challenges tied to the U.S. energy transformation.

- Climate Leadership is Paramount: Senior Advisor to the President for International Climate Policy, John Podesta, shared that this year’s conference had 3x the number of attendees, a sign that across the private-public sector, there is continued interest in energy transition leadership as the new administration approaches.
- Scaling Climate Tech: The conference highlighted the importance of scaling climate technologies, such as hydro, nuclear, carbon management, geothermal, clean hydrogen, and critical minerals, to support energy security.
- Private-Led, Government-Enabled: In the past four years, the DOE made over $500 billion in public-private clean energy investments across 900 projects, demonstrating the private-led, government-accelerated approach to advance the clean energy transition.
