Wes is the Manager of Asset Innovations, leading the development of cutting-edge solutions to advance technology-based carbon removal strategies. With a background in corporate decarbonization advisory, he has worked with Quantis, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), and Anthesis, specializing in carbon removal strategies for hard-to-abate sectors.
As a graduate student, Wes co-founded a marine technology startup that enhanced carbon removal through kelp rehabilitation in Southern California. Before that, he worked in conservation and rewilding initiatives across the American West and Chilean Patagonia.
Wes earned his Master’s in Environmental Science and Management (MESM) from the Bren School at UC Santa Barbara. Now a proud girl dad, he’s raising his daughters where he and his wife grew up, just north of Boston. He enjoys hiking, cycling, freediving, and spearfishing- followed by all-you-can-eat lobster rolls on the beach with his girls.
