This solution utilizes insightful data and emissions calculations to inform an event’s carbon footprint and seamlessly give the customer a path to offset their event’s emissions. These carbon offsets, procured from ClimeCo, are third-party verified and registered by trusted standards like the Climate Action Reserve and Verified Carbon Standard.
Benefits/Results:
Since 2022, ClimeCo and this hotelier have impacted over 20,000 gatherings globally, compensating more than 65,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide– equivalent to removing over 15,000 gasoline-powered passenger vehicles from the road for one year. Customers hosting meetings and events at the hotelier’s properties now have a tangible solution to address the environmental impact of their gatherings. This partnership represents a meaningful step toward more responsible and eco-conscious event planning in the hospitality industry.
