Kita is a prominent carbon insurance specialist, developing bespoke carbon insurance products that safeguard the quality and performance of carbon transactions. Eligible claims made on Kita’s carbon insurance policies can be paid out in cash or carbon credits. When claims are paid in carbon credits, ClimeCo will serve as a high-quality carbon credit supplier, providing Kita with best-fit replacement carbon credits in the event of an insurance claim. This collaborative engagement underscores how various members of the Voluntary Carbon Market (VCM) can work together creatively to grow the VCM further and make a positive impact.
