ClimeCo recently joined over 40 businesses and organizations in signing a coalition letter to California legislators urging the extension and strengthening of the state’s successful cap-and-trade program beyond 2030.
Led by Ceres and Clean & Prosperous California, the business support statement highlights the broad corporate backing for California’s market-based climate policy.
“California’s cap-and-trade program has proven that environmental leadership and economic growth can go hand in hand,” shared Derek Six, Chief Operating Officer, ClimeCo. “A stable, market-based system is essential to driving deep emissions reductions, fostering innovation, and delivering long-term sustainability.”
