David specializes in project origination, environmental markets, and nature-based investments, where he assesses project feasibility, manages risks, and ensures alignment with integrity and crediting standards.
Before joining ClimeCo, David consulted as a Project Scientist at Kieser & Associates, developing water quality trading programs and conservation finance instruments. David also served in the Obama Administration’s Council on Environmental Quality and contributed to the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions’ Ecosystem Services Program.
David holds a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment and received his Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Riverside. He resides in the Washington, D.C metropolitan Area.
