Jessica is based in the Calgary, Canada, office and has over 12 years of experience in carbon markets and environmental project development. She drives strategic initiatives across ClimeCo’s program development portfolio, focusing on advancing cutting-edge climate solutions and emerging market mechanisms.
She leads a multidisciplinary team in the design and execution of projects centered on environmental asset innovation, including, but not limited to, carbon capture and storage (CCS), low-carbon fuels—including blue and green hydrogen and ammonia—and the development of new greenhouse gas (GHG) programs and market instruments. Her team’s objective is to identify and structure high-impact opportunities for clients in hard-to-abate sectors, helping to unlock value through environmental markets and customized decarbonization strategies.
Before joining ClimeCo, Jessica worked with a large North American offset project developer, where she specialized in client and business development, carbon compliance strategies, and technology assessments. Her technical expertise includes the development of carbon offset projects in anaerobic digestion, wind, energy efficiency, composting, biomass, and electrification—spanning both compliance markets in Alberta (TIER) and British Columbia and Canadian voluntary markets.
She holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Development (SEDV) from the University of Calgary. She is passionate about accelerating the transition to a low-carbon economy through innovative, market-driven solutions.
