Peter Lux serves as President of Envita Solutions, a leading total waste management partner. The company is dedicated to fostering a healthier planet by transforming complex waste challenges into sustainable solutions. Over the past two decades, Envita Solutions has helped over 275 facilities reach zero-waste-to-landfill certification. They design innovative waste and recycling programs that deliver cost savings and convenience through a centralized program supported by data analytics to guide future decisions.
Before assuming this role, Peter was Chief of Staff & VP of Organization + People at Heritage Environmental Services, North America’s largest privately-held hazardous waste services provider. Prior to joining Heritage, Peter was based in New York City and worked in management consulting with Berkeley Research Group and Huron Consulting Group. During his consulting career, Peter managed large client-facing teams through a variety of initiatives, including functional area process design, company-wide risk assessments, support during federal deferred prosecution and DOJ oversight situations, independent audits, organizational design/framework/budgeting of new initiatives, and strategic leadership retreat programming and facilitation.
Peter received a B.S. in Accountancy from Miami University (OH). Peter and his wife, Marissa, live in Indianapolis with their three children, Mark, Larry, and Adam.
