What is Insetting, and How Does it Help Reduce Scope 3 Emissions?
Insetting (or carbon insetting) helps companies reduce emissions connected to their supply chains. It directs funding to environmental projects within those value chains. These projects can reduce a company’s Scope 3 emissions, also known as indirect emissions. This approach connects climate action more closely to company operations and net-zero goals.
