ClimeCo is proud to announce that three colleagues within the organization, Emily Damon, Chief Growth Officer; David Prieto, VP Sustainability Advisory; and Garrett Keraga, Director, Sustainability Advisory, have achieved the designation of “SBTi Certified Expert” through the SBTi Academy. Notably, Emily, David, and Garrett were invited to participate in becoming certified, building on ClimeCo’s leadership in GHG accounting, target setting, and beyond, and are among just *45 professionals worldwide to have achieved this certification, making their accomplishment especially significant.
The SBTi certification is through the SBTi Academy and is the official SBTi certification recognizing individuals’ expertise in successfully applying SBTi standards, tools and guidance. The rigorous, assessment-based pathway is a mark of technical proficiency across the full target-setting process. This validation of up-to-date expertise is especially important given the revisions to SBTi’s Corporate Net Zero Standard that are ongoing this year.
